TAPROOT is a guided field journal for paying attention to the things that keep pulling at you—and figuring out what they might be trying to tell you.
Maybe you already have an idea. Maybe you have twelve. Maybe there’s something you keep coming back to even though you can’t quite explain what it is yet. TAPROOT isn’t about forcing that into a business plan, a career change, or some grand declaration of purpose. It’s about getting underneath the obvious answers.
Through stories, reflection, and writing prompts, you’ll follow the threads running through your experience, interests, skills, values, curiosities, and the things you can’t seem to leave alone. You’ll look for patterns. Contradictions. Clues. The stuff that has probably been there longer than you realized.
Because before you decide what to build, it helps to understand what the fuck you’re actually building from.
